Strange Occasions
by  Brandon Faircloth

Lost.  That's how Luke Armstrong would describe his family after his mother's disappearance when he was 10. In the years since, he and his father have made a new life in the small, friendly town of Appling, but never without the shadow of their loss.

Now Luke is a man.  A new preacher's growing influence on the town leads him and his father to suspect a connection to the disappearance of Luke's mothers so long ago. They find themselves caught up in powerful forces, tied to a destiny that will bring them face to face with an ancient evil; one that has touched the Armstrongs' lives before, and is now bent upon destroying them once and for all.

This was a lovely book. I was enthralled by it the minute I started reading. The young author of this book has great potential and I cant wait to see more of his work! - Sabrina

I really enjoyed the plot and would love to see more novel by this author - Pam

I thought this book was GREAT! The plot was original and compelling, the characters were deep and involving, and the ending was awesome. Very different than what you would expect, and far from the formulaic stuff I usually end up reading and regretting - Steven

Books presently available Strange Occasions

Brandon Faircloth grew up loving to read and write.  He always found reading stories involving the supernatural especially compelling--in part because of their unique ability to give moral and spiritual issues tangible form.  These are the stories he gravitates towards writing as well.

Some of the greatest influences on his writing include Stephen King, H.P. Lovecraft, Joseph Conrad, and T.S. Elliot.  Aside from his time at Oxford University in England, he has always lived in Georgia, and is currently finishing his law degree at a law school in his home state.  Strange Occasions is his first full-length novel.
